EDA Drinks & Wine Campus

EDA Drinks & Wine Campus is an initiative of Basque Culinary Center, created to advance sustainable economic and social development through wine and beverages. It brings together education, entrepreneurship, innovation, research and promotion, with an international outlook and a focus on attracting talent. Its educational offer, designed and delivered by Basque Culinary Center’s Faculty of Gastronomic Sciences, includes a university degree in Beverages and Wine, six master’s programs, professional courses, workshops and learning events for enthusiasts. Current programs include master’s degrees in wine and beverage marketing and business, sommelier studies and innovation, and brewing science and technology.

EDA also supports beverage makers and startups through mentoring, business planning, investor connections, networking and product testing. Its research explores sustainable production and topics such as wine-region characteristics, climate adaptation, grape varieties and non-alcoholic beverages. The campus promotes the sector through conferences, seminars and workshops. Its planned sites in Vitoria-Gasteiz and Laguardia will focus on the wider beverage sector and wine respectively, forming an ecosystem alongside Basque Culinary Center’s San Sebastián campus.
