Edamba

EDAMBA, the European Doctoral Programmes Association in Management and Business Administration, is a non-profit organization that connects doctoral programmes and communities in management and business studies. With more than 35 years of activity and members across 27 countries, it works to strengthen the quality and standards of doctoral education in Europe and worldwide. Its mission includes providing a network for doctoral directors, programmes and schools to exchange information and ideas, and promoting good practice through high-standard codes of conduct.

EDAMBA supports its community through three main activities: the Annual Meeting, the Summer Research Academy and the EDAMBA-EIASM Consortium on Doctoral Supervision. It also offers member benefits and forums for PhD students and supervisors, alongside opportunities to participate in events, webinars and a thesis competition. Its publications include the EDAMBA Journal and related thesis competition and Summer Research Academy series. The association shares news and insights on doctoral supervision and business education, and encourages international collaboration through initiatives such as its European Code of Practice.
