Ed Bargy

Ed Bargy Racing School is an advanced motorcycle riding and racing school focused on practical, physics-based instruction for track-day riders and racers. Described as one of the oldest and most comprehensive schools of its kind in the United States, it draws on Ed Bargy’s motorcycle teaching experience dating to 1968. The school offers a structured program combining classroom sessions with live track instruction and a mock race. Graduates receive race certification.

Training covers racing lines, gearing, shifting, throttle control, braking and trail braking, body position, steering, corner analysis, crash avoidance, track observation, and race protocols. The curriculum aims to build effective riding skills while addressing common misconceptions, with techniques explained in clear, practical terms. The school also provides preparation resources for students and their motorcycles, free tutorial videos, online coaching content, and written tutorials on riding technique, motorcycle dynamics, and racing performance.
