Armut is a service marketplace that helps people find and hire professionals for everyday tasks and projects. Customers can request help across a wide range of categories, including cleaning, home renovation, moving, repairs, private lessons, photography, and event organisation. Popular services include house cleaning, painting, furniture and appliance installation, heating system maintenance, tutoring, and home-to-home relocation.

To get started, customers answer a few questions about the work and provide contact details, with the option to keep those details private. Armut shares the request with available professionals, who can send personalised price offers. Customers can compare proposals, review feedback from previous clients, discuss terms, and choose a provider based on price and quality. The platform highlights professional profiles and customer ratings to support informed decisions, and says jobs selected through Armut are covered by its guarantee.

Armut also offers a mobile app for viewing offers and communicating with service providers. Professionals can join the platform to reach potential customers; the site says 500,000 Armut customers look for service providers each month.
