About EDDIE Digital Energy Education
EDDIE, the Education for Digitalisation of Energy Association, was officially established as a legal entity in July 2024, emerging as a pivotal organization in Europe’s energy transition. Focused on revolutionizing the energy sector, EDDIE is dedicated to driving digital upskilling, enhancing collaboration, and shaping innovative policies for a skilled workforce ready to meet the demands of a digital future. In response to the rapid digitalization within the energy industry, EDDIE equips professionals with essential digital skills to effectively tackle both challenges and opportunities.
The association promotes the development of digital competencies, facilitates stakeholder collaboration, and spearheads research and educational initiatives aimed at improving digital literacy throughout the energy value chain. Central to its mission is the coordination of the Large-Scale Partnership focused on digitalizing the energy system, a flagship project aligned with the European Commission’s Pact for Skills. Through these efforts, EDDIE is committed to transforming the energy landscape by enhancing EU policies and fostering a knowledgeable and skilled workforce
