Edelweiss Thuiszorg

Edelweiss Thuiszorg B.V. is a Dutch home-care and support provider founded in 2009 by children’s nurse Anne-Marie Beers–de Mare. The organisation focuses on tailored care for children and young people, combining nursing services with personal guidance. Care can be arranged through a Personal Budget (PGB) or, where available, through contracted care in kind (ZIN). The services cover nursing care under the Health Insurance Act, the Long-Term Care Act and the Youth Act.

Edelweiss also offers holiday care during school breaks. Since 2017, the team has accompanied families on holidays in the Netherlands and abroad, helping care continue while families travel. Since 2018, Anne-Marie and her family have provided small-scale weekend and holiday stays at their farmhouse in Stompetoren. These stays offer a welcoming setting for children and young people needing care or support. Edelweiss describes its approach as going a step further, with a personal, small-scale service shaped around individual needs. The organisation also shares updates about its care spaces and activities, including time outdoors with the dogs.
