Edhisto

EDHISTO is a French historical publishing and research organization focused on making history accessible through its publications, events, and specialist activities. Its website features a catalogue and a “bureau d’étude,” indicating that the organization offers both historical publications and study or research services. The site also promotes talks, book fairs, and study days, including events in the Vosges region and across eastern France.

These activities connect readers with historical subjects and provide opportunities to meet authors and take part in discussions. EDHISTO is represented by Yann Prouillet, whose conference appearances and editorials feature prominently on the site. The organization publishes regular editorials, with an archive spanning multiple years, and maintains partnerships with booksellers and other institutions.

It acknowledges financial support from the Regional Council of Lorraine and expresses strong solidarity with its bookselling partners during difficulties affecting the book trade. Through its catalogue, research activity, and participation in public cultural events, EDHISTO serves readers interested in history and supports the broader community of historical publishing and bookselling
