About Edk
EDK, or Ekstremalna Droga Krzyżowa, is a transformative night-walking experience that challenges participants to cover at least 40 kilometers in solitude or small groups, embracing silence and reflection. Founded in 2009 by Father Jacek Wiosna Stryczek along with the Męska Strona Rzeczywistości community, EDK has grown into a global phenomenon, engaging over 100,000 participants across Poland and 17 other countries on three continents. The journey emphasizes personal growth and spiritual awakening, as individuals confront their limits while navigating through darkness.
EDK is not a pilgrimage; it prioritizes the internal struggle over comfort, promoting deep introspection through the challenges faced on the trail.
