EdMon is a Swedish software company that helps documentary and unscripted television teams move from raw footage to a first assembly faster. Its tools transcribe and summarise interviews, identify speakers, and make material searchable by words, phrases, speakers, tags, or locations. Producers can select and arrange moments in a web app, where EdMon builds a rough cut to the production’s format. Editors then open the sequence in Avid or Adobe Premiere, with clips linked to the original media.
EdMon offers two products. EdMon Producer is designed for production companies and post houses, supports unlimited team users, and is priced by footage processed. EdMon in Premiere is for individual creators: it helps users create bins, selects, assemblies, music, and lower thirds within their projects. The individual plan includes a music library of about 1,300 tracks and ten transcription hours per month, with a seven-day free trial and a $30 monthly price afterward. The Premiere product requires a Mac with Apple silicon.
