Edmonton Latin festival

The Edmonton Latin Festival (ELF) is a vibrant celebration of Latin heritage, inspired by the dreams of "Abuela," who sought to share her rich cultural legacy with family and friends. Taking place annually during the third week of August, ELF is the largest Latin festival in Edmonton, attracting attendees with its lively atmosphere and diverse offerings. This exciting two-day outdoor festival features international live music, captivating dance performances, and a plethora of savory authentic food options from various Latin cuisines.

Families can enjoy a dedicated kids' area, explore an artisan marketplace, and relax in the beer gardens, all within a festive Latin carnival ambiance. Notably, ELF is a free event, welcoming everyone to partake in this cultural extravaganza without needing a passport. Beyond entertainment, the festival plays a crucial role in fostering understanding and tolerance among cultural communities in Edmonton, while also sparking artistic creativity within Latino populations. Join us for a celebration that's truly "Muy Caliente!" and experience the warmth of Latin culture firsthand.
