Edmonton Rec League

Edmonton Rec League is a community sports organization based in Edmonton, Alberta, offering recreational slo-pitch leagues for players and teams of varying experience levels. Its “Softball for All” approach emphasizes outdoor play and spending time with friends, with divisions including rookie, recreational, recreational-plus and intermediate. Games are scheduled at local parks and school venues across the city, and the league publishes schedules, scores and standings to help participants follow the season.

Players and teams can register through the league’s website, which also shares updates on registration openings, summer schedules, playoff fixtures and league champions. Equipment deposits are collected during registration, with a designated pickup opportunity; teams are responsible for having the required equipment to be scheduled for games. The organization also provides general league information, rules, venue details and contact options. In addition to operating its leagues, Edmonton Rec League posts job opportunities, including seasonal photography work, and features information about sponsors. Its website serves as a central hub for registration, season news and practical details for participants.
