Ministerio de Educación

Spain’s Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports is the national government body responsible for education, vocational training and sport. Its website serves students, teachers, researchers, schools and other organisations, offering information about the Ministry’s work, services, regulations and public opportunities.

For students, the Ministry provides guidance on scholarships and grants, study options, admissions, enrolment, access examinations, work placements and awards. Teachers and researchers can find information on training courses, professional development, grants, competitions, transfers and selection processes, including opportunities in Spanish schools and programmes abroad. Schools can access support schemes, awards and practical guidance on authorisations, educational agreements and vocational training provision.

The Ministry also offers public services such as citizen assistance, administrative information and employment opportunities. It administers grants and subsidies for companies, associations, foundations and other organisations, including funding for vocational training, inclusion and educational initiatives. Information is available in several Spanish languages and English, helping visitors navigate the Ministry’s programmes and services for different parts of the education community.
