About EducAidLDN
EducAid is an educational network that operates in Sierra Leone, with the aim of providing holistic programs to vulnerable young people. With over 25 years of experience, EducAid runs a network of free schools and school improvement projects, focusing on gender equality and community resilience. Their approach is to strengthen education for all children in Sierra Leone, rather than creating a parallel system.
EducAid's impact can be seen on both an individual and a larger scale, through their sustainable school improvement projects, policy influence, and sharing of best practices. They have consistently achieved top results in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) from 2016 to 2022. The organization's vision is to create a democratic, dignified, and globally-engaged Sierra Leone, where poverty is eliminated by educated citizens.
