G-Educainflamatoria is an educational platform focused on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. It is developed and updated by professionals from IBD units within GETECCU, the Spanish Working Group on Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. Its multidisciplinary contributors include doctors from different specialties, specialist nurses and psychologists. Content is periodically reviewed by IBD professionals and updated in line with available scientific evidence and current clinical guidelines.

The platform provides patients and healthcare professionals with practical, evidence-based information to support understanding, education and patient involvement in care. Topics range from diagnosis, monitoring and treatment to nutrition, surgery, medication adherence, vaccination, emotional wellbeing, fatigue, exercise, travel, sexual health and IBD in children, older adults and women. Resources include educational graphics, risk charts, myth-busting materials, videos, webinars, patient stories, basic meal plans and useful links. It also offers patient-focused features such as a question-and-answer area, discussion forum, patient experiences, professional conversations and EntrenaEII monitoring.
