The Educational Foundation "Cel. Quito Junqueira", located at Av. Cavalheiro Paschoal Innecchi, nº 500, in the municipality of Ribeirão Preto (SP), is a philanthropic institution originated from the generosity and altruism of the couple Francisco Maximiano Junqueira, known as Coronel Quito, and Theolina Zemilla de Andrade Junqueira, known as Sinhá Junqueira. Created on May 13, 1938, initially with the name "Abrigo De Menores De Ribeirão Preto - Educandário Cel. Quito Junqueira", it had its first statute registered in 1940, being transformed into a Foundation the following year, changing its name to the Educational Foundation "Cel. Quito Junqueira". The Educandário Foundation includes: Colégio Camillo de Mattos, Escola de Educação Infantil Dr. Fábio Musa and the Sinhá Junqueira Library
