Educateam

Educateam is a French association focused on aquatic education, swimming instruction, and water-safety awareness. Active since 2010, it helps children, teenagers, adults, and families become more comfortable in water and develop swimming skills through supportive, age-appropriate teaching. Its approach emphasizes listening, observation, individual pace, and enjoyment, while treating water as a setting for physical, emotional, and social learning.

Educateam offers swimming-pool programs for children that build aquatic independence, confidence, and foundational swimming ability, including holiday swimming courses held each year. For adults, it provides guidance to help overcome fear of water and improve swimming technique. Its activities for mothers include prenatal and postnatal swimming, gentle bodywork, and support that continues pelvic-floor rehabilitation. Across its programs, the association promotes water safety, sensory discovery, autonomy, and positive parent-child connection.

The organization’s educational approach is led by Roxana Maracineanu, a former world swimming champion who shares her experience through a practice centered on trust, awareness, and accessibility.
