EduGems Finland is a brand that aims to create a more sustainable circular world while bringing 21st-century and holistic literacy skills to as many people as possible. Founded in 2019 by two Finnish mums with a deep passion for education, EduGems Finland initially focused on providing educational travel programs. However, with the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent cancellation of travel programs, they adapted by creating an e-learning platform to reach teachers and schools worldwide directly.

EduGems Finland is the only Finnish ESD (Education for Sustainable Development) training export company. They have already trained over 4500 teachers in more than 40 countries. Their research-based school program, STEAM4SD, combines STEAM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) with Sustainable Development.

This program covers holistic topics such as Materials, Circular Economy, Eco-Design, and Megatrends. By adopting student-centered, project-based and phenomenon-based approaches, teachers and students can experience the Finnish way of learning. EduGems Finland offers online teacher trainings that focus on integrating Education for Sustainable Development into all areas of education.

These trainings provide teachers with concrete tools and ideas for using student-centered, project-based approaches. The brand has a growing team of talented and enthusiastic members and representatives in various countries, including Finland, Nepal, China, Latin America, and India. With a vision to equip one million educators with skills and knowledge by 2030, EduGems Finland supports schools in integrating holistic ESD competences into curricula using an innovative, transformational, and empowering approach
