Edugyula

EDÜ, also known as the Erkel Diákünnepek, is a student festival held in Gyula, Hungary, celebrating creativity, talent and community. More than a competition, it brings students together through artistic performances, workshops, concerts and a range of other programmes. Its activities span literature, dance, music and visual arts, giving young people opportunities to share their work, explore new ideas and connect with others through art.

The festival also brings together students, experienced educators, professional jurors and returning alumni in an environment designed to encourage inspiration and collaboration. The 32nd edition is scheduled for May 28–30, 2026, with “Remake” as its theme. Participants are invited to reinterpret familiar ideas and give their creative work a fresh perspective.

EDÜ promotes collective creation and personal expression, emphasizing the value of the shared experience as much as the finished work.
