EDUISS is the distance-learning platform of the Istituto Superiore di Sanità (ISS), Italy’s National Institute of Health and a technical-scientific body of the National Health Service. The ISS works to protect public health through research, monitoring, consultancy, regulation and training, and is a national provider of continuing medical education (ECM). EDUISS offers online professional development courses in public health, supporting learners in maintaining and updating their knowledge through structured distance-learning pathways.

The platform provides access to currently active courses, international training programmes and courses designed for school personnel. Registered users can view and manage the courses in which they are enrolled, while prospective participants can browse the institutional training offer and find guidance on registration, technical requirements and support. Courses are generally inspired by the Problem Based Learning approach and include resources intended to make participants active contributors to their learning.
