Dhaka Metrorail is a revolutionary transportation system in Bangladesh, offering a solution to the city's traffic congestion. Metrorail offers two types of ticket cards: permanent and single journey cards, available for purchase at stations and online. Students receive no half-fare facility but all passengers get a 10% discount with a permanent card. In case of a lost pass, registered cardholders can easily transfer the balance to a new card. With advanced security features like Communication Based Train Control System and CCTV cameras, Metrorail ensures a safe and convenient journey for all travelers.
