Bluewater Imaging

Bluewater Imaging is a diagnostic imaging provider serving the Greater Toronto Area and Southern Ontario through ten clinics. With more than 35 years of service, the organization offers patient-focused care, convenient online booking and walk-in X-ray at participating locations. Most appointments are available within 48 hours, and reports are typically sent to patients’ doctors within 24 to 48 hours.

Its imaging services include ultrasound, X-ray, mammography, bone mineral density scans, echocardiograms, Holter monitoring, vascular imaging and fluoroscopy. Ultrasound options cover areas such as abdominal, breast, obstetric, pelvic, thyroid, renal and prostate imaging. Most exams are OHIP-covered when patients have a valid Ontario requisition, and patients may choose Bluewater Imaging regardless of where their doctor directed the requisition.

Eligible patients can also self-refer for OHIP-covered screening mammograms through the Ontario Breast Screening Program, without a requisition. Bluewater Imaging additionally offers 3D/4D ultrasound and DEXA scans without a requisition; these services are identified as coming soon on its website.
