Edward Selfe Photo Safaris offers small-group and tailor-made photographic wildlife journeys across some of Africa’s most rewarding destinations. Founded and led by Edward Selfe, a licensed guide, naturalist and wildlife photographer, the business combines experienced safari guiding with practical photography tuition. Edward has lived in Zambia’s Luangwa Valley since 2009 and has more than 18 years of experience guiding and photographing across Africa. His local knowledge helps guests understand wildlife behaviour, seasonal conditions and light, while finding promising locations and photographic opportunities.
Safaris are designed for photographers at different experience levels, from passionate beginners to seasoned wildlife photographers. Scheduled tours use selected camps chosen for their wildlife viewing and overall safari experience; bespoke itineraries can also be planned around guests’ interests. Destinations featured include South Luangwa and Lower Zambezi in Zambia, Botswana, Tanzania and Kibale Forest in Uganda. Experiences may include tracking leopards, photographing elephants and seeking out distinctive wildlife encounters.
