The Energy Efficiency Council (EEC) is Australia’s peak membership association for organisations working in energy efficiency, electrification and energy flexibility. It aims to accelerate the development of products and services that benefit households, businesses and the energy system, supporting a prosperous, net-zero Australia.
The Council works across three areas. For homes, it promotes healthier, more comfortable living and more affordable energy bills. For businesses, it supports improved productivity, lower emissions and reduced energy costs. For energy systems, it advocates for renewable energy and demand-side solutions that can help lower system costs and deliver better outcomes for homes and businesses.
The EEC connects people with its member organisations, which provide energy management products, services, advice and expertise. Its offerings also include events, training, certifications, resources and policy advocacy. Energy Management Fundamentals learning solutions are available for people in small and large businesses, school students and teachers, and others interested in energy management. Through these activities, the Council helps build skills and advance solutions for a decarbonised future.
