EEI Aquarela

EEI Aquarela is an early childhood education school in Piracicaba, Brazil, founded in 1999 by mother and daughter Vera and Karina. The school aims to extend the warmth of home while supporting children’s learning, development, and socialization, working in partnership with families. It serves children across three stages: Berçário (nursery), Maternal, and Jardim, with spaces planned for different age groups and a dedicated building for the nursery. Families can choose full-day, semi-full-day, or half-day schedules.

Aquarela’s educational approach combines care and age-appropriate learning with play, creativity, and respect for each child’s development. Its activities include music, arts, English, physical expression, acrobatic gymnastics, ballet, football, and computing. The school also offers experiences such as gardening, indoor camping, performances, and community citizenship projects. Its menu is developed and monitored by a nutritionist and a food engineer, and children learn about healthy eating, solidarity, diversity, and the environment. Aquarela presents itself as a close-knit school community, supported by its teaching team and families.
