Eekenhoff Centrum GmbH operates Eekenhoff, a daytime care service for older adults and people needing support in Klein Scharrel, Edewecht. Guided by the motto “Not alone, but together,” the centre offers a welcoming, family-oriented place where guests can spend the day in company and return home to their familiar surroundings in the evening. Its approach puts each person’s individual story and needs at the centre of care.

Services include day care, a varied programme of activities, MAKS therapy and a dedicated transport service, including provision for wheelchair users. A friendly team plans weekly activities that encourage memory, fine motor skills, movement and concentration, while participation remains optional. Seasonal celebrations and local traditions are also part of the programme. Guests can enjoy freshly prepared meals from the in-house kitchen and spend time in the spacious garden, including on walks.

Eekenhoff invites prospective guests to arrange a trial day to experience the setting and see whether it suits them. The centre is open Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
