Een Mooi Gebaar is a crochet resource and learning platform founded by Iris van Meer, who has shared patterns and taught crochet since 2016. Its website offers more than 1,000 patterns, with projects for beginners through advanced crocheters. The collection spans blankets, clothing, bags, accessories, home décor and amigurumi, alongside designs organized by theme and creator. Visitors can also find free patterns, stitch guides, crochet tips, blog articles and translated designs, with clear instructions intended to help makers build their skills and choose their next project.

For those seeking structured learning, Een Mooi Gebaar provides Dutch-language video courses covering a range of techniques. Lessons can be followed at the learner’s own pace and include video guidance for both left- and right-handed crocheters. The Een Mooi Gebaar Club membership offers access to more than 400 PDF patterns, over 20 courses and live online crochet sessions. The platform also supports a crochet community through social groups, where members can share projects and ask questions.
