About EFA Patients
EFA Patients is a European alliance comprised of 39 patient associations that advocate for individuals suffering from allergies, asthma, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). We represent 30% of European citizens currently living with these conditions, aiming to convey their voice and actively participate in decisions that impact their health. Our organization, the European Federation of Allergy and Airways Diseases Patients' Associations (EFA), connects 45 member organizations across 26 countries in Europe.
Our mission is to unite and empower allergy and asthma patients, and we have expanded our scope to include COPD in response to the needs of our members. Through partnerships, research projects, and expert networks, we strive to improve the lives of patients and raise awareness of these diseases. EFA is governed by a dedicated and experienced board, comprising patient leaders who advocate for patients' needs and promote positive policy changes.
