Effective Altruism UP Diliman is the Philippine chapter of the global Effective Altruism (EA) movement. As a community of Filipinos, we are dedicated to finding the most effective ways to make a positive impact on the world. Our mission is to maximize our collective efforts in addressing global challenges and improving lives.

At EA UP Diliman, we offer a range of products and services aimed at promoting effective altruism and empowering individuals to create meaningful change. We have student chapters that provide a platform for students to engage in discussions and take action on important issues. We also have a blog that shares insights and resources on effective altruism, as well as an opportunities board that connects individuals with volunteering and career development opportunities.

From our Executive Director, Elmerei Cuevas, who focuses on growing our professional network, to our Associate Director, Althy Cendaña, who manages volunteers and supports student groups, each member plays a crucial role in our efforts.
