Effetto Palla Onlus

Effetto Palla ODV is an Italian nonprofit that brings together veterinary facilities, veterinarians and volunteers to care for animals in vulnerable situations. Since 2016, the organization has provided treatment, rescue and adoption support for “animals of no one,” including abandoned or mistreated dogs and cats, injured strays, and wildlife in difficulty. Its work also includes helping animals affected by emergencies such as the Montiferru wildfires.

The association develops practical projects focused on recovery and giving animals another chance, and it promotes awareness through events, news and educational initiatives. Featured efforts include dog and cat sterilization in partnership with the Municipality of Quartu Sant’Elena, as well as projects in locations including Centu and Brazil. Effetto Palla also presents adoptable animals through its “Regno di Palla.”

Supporters can contribute through one-time donations, monthly giving, an Amazon wishlist or Italy’s 5x1000 tax allocation. The organization shares project updates and initiatives through its website, newsletter and social media, inviting the public to help fund veterinary care and support animals in need.
