About EFInA
EFInA (Enhancing Financial Innovation and Access) is a leading financial sector development organization in Nigeria, dedicated to promoting inclusive finance. With a focus on driving financial inclusion, EFInA operates across four key pillars: Research, Innovation, Advocacy & Capacity Building, and Digital Financial Services. Through their research efforts, EFInA aims to advance the digitization of humanitarian cash transfers in Africa, among other initiatives.
They also provide impactful grants, including Technical Assistance Grants, Innovation Grants, and Fintech Challenge Grants, worth millions of dollars, to support the growth of financial services. Additionally, EFInA conducts nationwide surveys and scoping studies to enhance access to financial services in Nigeria. Their advocacy work involves hosting various fora and workshops to address policy issues and drive new initiatives.
EFInA's capacity building programs have benefited over 1,210 institutions, while their grant projects have financially included 4,682,492 Nigerians, including 2 million women.
