About Egyptian Fetal Medicine Foundation
The Egyptian Fetal Medicine Foundation (EFMF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving maternal and fetal health in Egypt, the Middle East, and Africa. With a focus on promoting the medical competence of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the foundation aims to enhance the diagnosis and follow-up of fetal health. Additionally, EFMF strives to raise health awareness among citizens, particularly women, by providing important medical information and advocating for good health practices for both mother and fetus.
Led by Prof. Mohamed Kamal Etman, MD, the foundation offers a range of services and initiatives. These include organizing annual international conferences to share the latest updates and facilitate the exchange of experiences, as well as conducting workshops and educational programs to train OB/GYN doctors in the use of 3D and 4D ultrasound for fetal and women's health. Additionally, EFMF focuses on enhancing its institutional and operational capacities to ensure the sustainable improvement of their services.
