EGERERDŐ Erdészeti Zrt., based in Eger, is dedicated to the management and conservation of state-owned forests in the Mátra, Bükk, and Heves-Borsodi regions, covering approximately 75,000 hectares of land. With two-thirds of our forest areas protected under national or community (Natura 2000) regulations, we maintain close relationships with nature conservation managers and the relevant National Park Directorates. We primarily sell timber within the domestic market, with only a small percentage exported.
