Eggersdorfer Carneval Club e.V.

Eggersdorfer Carneval Club e.V. is a community carnival association that brings people together through festive events, performance, and participation. Its annual carnival season features a varied program of dances, comedy, spoken-word performances, singing, sketches, and other entertainment. The club’s events include Weiberfastnacht celebrations, which are especially popular, and visitors can order tickets through the club’s website. Each season also introduces a ceremonial prince and princess, while the club invites interested participants to apply to take on the role in a future season.

Dance is a longstanding focus of the ECC. Its dance groups perform at club events and local competitions, with activities for young and adult members, soloists, and others interested in dance sport. The men’s ballet is another established part of the program, preparing several routines each season. The spoken-word and singing group welcomes a range of talents and uses humor and self-reflection to entertain audiences. The club also offers membership opportunities, shares news and event information online, and operates its own shop.
