Eggertspiele is a German board-game brand founded in 1996 by Peter Eggert. For many years, it published strategic and tactical tabletop games known for their thoughtful gameplay, player interaction, and distinctive ideas. Its catalogue includes acclaimed titles such as Village, Camel Up, Rokoko, Mombasa, and Great Western Trail, alongside a wide range of family games, strategy games, and classics.
Some of its games and creators have received major board-game awards. Eggertspiele later became part of Pegasus Spiele; today, its website preserves information about the publisher’s history and games while serving as a resource for people who enjoy playing together. Visitors can browse introductions to Eggertspiele titles and other board and card games, find game instructions and rules available as PDF downloads, and explore practical ideas for family gatherings, parties, birthdays, and group activities.
These include familiar games such as charades, guessing games, and drawing games, as well as icebreakers and team-building activities. Eggertspiele brings together a legacy of notable tabletop releases and useful inspiration for choosing or enjoying games
