EIC Net is an environmental information and community website operated by the Environmental Innovation Information Organization, a Japanese public-interest foundation. It helps individuals, local governments, businesses, and other readers explore environmental issues through regularly updated news, reference materials, and opportunities to exchange information. Its coverage includes domestic and international environmental news, climate change, biodiversity, waste and recycling, pollution, and health and chemicals.

The site offers expert commentary and interviews, practical eco-living guides, children’s learning resources, environmental quizzes, and a searchable glossary with Japanese-English terminology. Visitors can also find event listings, an environmental question-and-answer service, organization profiles, curated links, and information on renewable energy and energy-efficiency projects. Current environmental indicators and related explanations provide additional context on conditions such as carbon dioxide concentrations and air quality.

EIC Net also publishes notices about subsidy programs and application opportunities. Through these information services and educational resources, the organization supports broader understanding of environmental policy and action, working in collaboration with local governments and in connection with government-funded environmental initiatives.
