About eID Forum
Welcome to the eID Forum, the main electronic identity event in Europe! Our team, with over 10 years of experience in the industry and governmental agencies, is passionate about everything related to identity. Back in 2008, our founders, Konstantin Papaxanthis and José Pina Miranda, noticed the lack of a space where industry experts, governments, and e-identity developers could openly discuss their needs and developments. Thus, they organized the National eID & ePassport Conference, which later evolved into the eID Forum.
As a global, non-profit, and open-minded foundation, we aim to create a platform for exchange, debate, and discussion among industry professionals, decision-makers, regulators, and stakeholders. Supported by the EU Commission, we focus on electronic identification and electronic Trust Services. Our upcoming forum in Tallinn, Estonia, co-hosted by the Republic of Estonia Information System Authority (RIA), is an ideal opportunity to explore the role of eID in our economy and the building blocks of the Digital Single Market.
