Eifel Vertikal is a climbing instruction provider offering courses on the basalt rock formations of the Vordereifel, where it has been active since 2010. Its programs introduce beginners and families to outdoor climbing and also cater to more experienced climbers through advanced courses and individual coaching. Specialist instruction covers the use of climbing protection such as nuts, cams and related equipment, helping participants develop their skills with traditional gear.
The trainer has been climbing in the region’s distinctive dark basalt columns for around thirty years and is actively involved in preserving the local climbing area. Alongside its courses, Eifel Vertikal provides an equipment check and hosts an open climbing meet-up. The site also offers information for groups and gift cards, with a gallery, news and blog providing further ways to explore its activities.
Eifel Vertikal brings practical climbing experience together with instruction in a natural setting, while highlighting a commitment to responsible access and the continued preservation of the area
