Eifeltierheim

Eifeltierheim Altrich is a nonprofit animal shelter and animal welfare organization based in Altrich, Germany. It cares for animals living at the shelter and helps connect them with new homes. Its website features cats, dogs, and small animals seeking adoption, along with information about animals that have already been rehomed. Prospective adopters can review general guidance on the placement process and browse current residents, while visits require an appointment arranged in advance.

The shelter also provides practical information for people who need to surrender an animal or have found a stray, including guidance on initial steps and what to do next. Its regularly updated diary shares new arrivals, adoption updates, missing- and found-animal notices, shelter news, and stories about former residents. Eifeltierheim Altrich is operated as a nonprofit and relies largely on public donations to maintain the facility and provide food and care for the animals. Supporters can contribute donations or bring them to the shelter during its stated contact hours.
