About einet.net
Galaxy/eiNet is a web directory whose history dates to January 1994, when it launched as what it describes as the Internet’s first searchable directory. Its mission is to help people discover websites through quality listings arranged in an organized hierarchy. Rather than focusing on a single industry, Galaxy/eiNet covers a broad range of subjects, including business, shopping, travel, recreation, health, science, technology, education, government, religion, the arts, and the humanities.
Listings are grouped into topic areas and more specific categories, making the directory a structured resource for exploring the web. Website owners can submit a site for consideration, while visitors can browse the directory and check its “What’s New” section. The site also provides terms and conditions, a privacy policy, and contact information.
With its longstanding directory format and wide-ranging subject coverage, Galaxy/eiNet presents itself as a searchable guide to websites for users seeking information, services, organizations, and other online resources
