Einhorn Los Angeles is a Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) club serving the Los Angeles area since 2013. The club teaches historical fencing and European martial arts based on surviving treatises and traditions, with a focus on techniques practiced from the Late Middle Ages through the early modern period. Its disciplines include German longsword, rapier, dagger, sword and buckler, sabre, and wrestling, also known as Ringen.
Einhorn holds classes on Wednesdays in Los Angeles and Sundays in Glendale, welcoming newcomers with a free first class. Members can choose among quarterly, monthly, and pay-per-class subscription options, with an annual insurance fee applying to the pay-per-class level. The club uses the Gymdesk mobile app for class check-ins, schedules, and account management, and also provides an online member portal for those who prefer not to use the app. Visitors can connect with the club through Facebook and its community links. Whether exploring historical fencing for the first time or developing skills across several traditional weapon and wrestling arts, participants can train with a local group dedicated to learning and practicing HEMA.
