Women's Health Hub Finland

Eir is a global accelerator for science-based and deep-tech startups developing solutions in women’s health. Operated by Women’s Health Hub Finland, a national competence centre bringing together research, clinical expertise and industry partnerships, Eir offers a free, hybrid programme open to startups worldwide. Its six-month programme combines focused sprints, mentoring and introductions to partners and investors, with a Demo Day for presenting to the ecosystem.

Unlike generalist accelerators, Eir concentrates exclusively on women’s health and the field’s specific challenges, including clinical validation, long sales cycles and fragmented markets. Participants can connect with experienced founders, operators, clinicians and industry leaders, as well as targeted investors and organisations working in health, pharmaceuticals and life sciences. The network also offers access to Finnish biobanks and potential routes to pilots, partnerships and commercial opportunities. Eir is part of Startup Hub Turku and participates in international networks advancing women’s health innovation. With a Nordic emphasis on practical, long-term work and a limited number of teams per cohort, Eir aims to help startups build and scale solutions for unmet needs in women’s health.
