Institut für Epilepsie

**EiZ – Epilepsie im Zentrum** is a dedicated support initiative focused on improving the lives of individuals affected by epilepsy and their families. Founded by Mag.ª Elisabeth Pless out of personal experience, EiZ offers professional and individual counseling to help those navigating the challenges of living with epilepsy. The brand provides a range of services including personalized consultation, strategies for daily living, and information on medical treatments, social issues, and emergency care.

EiZ also engages in community outreach, providing training sessions, awareness programs, and workshops aimed at reducing stigma and enhancing understanding of epilepsy. The initiative targets not only those directly diagnosed with epilepsy but also caregivers, educators, and employers, ensuring comprehensive support and guidance. All services are offered free of charge, thanks to funding from the Steiermark Health Fund, making EiZ accessible to anyone in need. Through a collaborative approach, EiZ strives to foster independence and reduce barriers to participation in everyday life.
