Ekatra

Ekatra Foundation is a nonprofit digital library dedicated to preserving Gujarati literature and making it accessible to readers worldwide. Active since 2010, it brings together more than 1,000 books, over 300 audiobooks and more than 100 periodical issues, including rare and hard-to-find works. Its collection spans Gujarati writing from the medieval period to the present, with poetry, novels, short stories, plays, essays, criticism, reference works, folk literature, biographies, travel writing and translations, alongside selections from Indian and world literature.

Readers can explore curated editorial collections, literary podcasts and concise audio summaries of notable books. Ekatra also publishes Sanchayan, a magazine presenting enduring literary works, which it has issued since 2013. To support research and discovery, books are scanned, processed with optical character recognition and converted into searchable Unicode text.

The platform is free to use and accessible on mobile devices, computers and tablets, allowing users to read ebooks and listen to audiobooks from anywhere
