About EKII
EKII.LV is an innovative platform established to facilitate the electronic preparation and submission of monitoring reports by beneficiaries of environmental and energy projects funded by the Emission Quota Auction Instrument (EKII) and the Modernization Fund (MF). Committed to supporting sustainability, the platform provides essential updates and information regarding ongoing competitions and projects funded by EKII and MF. Users can access details about application processes, evaluation procedures, and funding allocations through links to the Climate and Energy Ministry and the Environmental Investment Fund’s websites.
Among its key offerings, EKII.LV assists in promoting the acquisition of environmentally friendly vehicles by providing extended funding support for both electric and low-emission cars. In addition, the platform actively participates in events like "Māja I 2025," where it raises awareness on household support initiatives and energy efficiency monitoring. Through various competitions, it encourages the adoption of renewable energy resources and aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions across households and various sectors.
