The team at Sofia brings together experts, citizens, and organizations committed to the future of Sofia. We believe that our city needs to be governed in a new way. Sofia's team combines knowledge, planning, and teamwork to create a better future.
Our model for managing Sofia emphasizes the crucial role of citizens, experts, data, and dialogue, as opposed to the fragmented and inefficient approach that currently exists. The model consists of three components: knowledge, planning, and teamwork. To implement this model, a transparent pre-election coalition of reform-minded politicians, citizens, and experts is needed to form a majority in the Municipal Council and select the mayor, district mayors, and councilors.
Such a coalition can bridge party divisions and convince the vast number of non-voting citizens that they will have a new type of local government after the elections, where they can contribute to improving Sofia and solving the city's problems.
