About Ekodomov
Welcome to the website of Ekodomov, a non-profit organization that brings together enthusiastic composters and nature educators. Since 2004, we have been promoting and helping to develop various methods of composting throughout the Czech Republic, and we manage the informative website, kompostuj. cz.
In the picturesque Šárka Valley, we operate the oldest forest nursery in the Czech Republic, where we have been providing education about nature for fourteen years. We offer outdoor activities for younger school children in Prague and the surrounding areas through our program called Malý průzkumník přírody (Little Nature Explorer). Moreover, we provide certified ecological educational programs and eco-friendly theaters for schools and kindergartens.
In our e-shop, ekonakup. cz, we sell products related to our activities. Our mission is to guide both adults and children towards a healthy environment, with a focus on local composting.
