About EKOPAK
Ekopak is a non-profit company founded in 2011 with the goal of taking responsibility for the fulfillment of legal obligations for recycling and utilization of packaging waste in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina on behalf of their clients, including packaging manufacturers, importers, fillers, distributors, and traders. They are dedicated to promoting a greener future by offering comprehensive services in the management of packaging waste. Ekopak collaborates with various partners, such as Coca-Cola, and actively participates in initiatives that promote responsible disposal of packaging waste.
They also engage in educational activities, reaching out to over 90,000 children and providing sets of waste bins for selective disposal of waste to the University of Sarajevo Campus. With over 900 clients in their 10 years of existence, Ekopak has collected a staggering 100,000 tons of packaging waste. They continue to invest in the development of their recycling system and have collaborated with 19 municipalities across the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
