About Eko Straža
Eko Straža is an informal group of citizens dedicated to protecting the environment in Serbia and its surroundings. This community has prioritized raising awareness about air pollution and its impact on human health, as it poses a significant threat to the well-being of the population. In fact, it is alarming to learn that approximately 20 to 30 people in Serbia die from pollution-related causes every day.
Eko Straža aims to combat this issue by educating individuals and promoting information dissemination through their active online community. With a rapidly growing number of members on their Facebook page, including concerned parents, young couples, grandparents, and others who care about the environment and their health, Eko Straža is making a difference in the fight for clean air. While their primary focus is air pollution, they also address other forms of pollution, such as water and soil contamination, deforestation, and biodiversity loss.
