EKSA

Sæby Flyveklub is a flying club based at Sæby / Ottestrup airfield (EKSA) in northern Denmark. Bringing together people with an interest in aircraft and aviation, the club welcomes both pilots and those who are simply curious. Its focus is not only on flying, but also on the friendships and shared experiences built around the airfield, from flights over North Jutland to informal gatherings in the clubhouse. During winter, members meet on Sunday mornings for coffee, breakfast rolls and conversation.

The club also provides practical information for visiting pilots planning an arrival at EKSA. The airfield has a grass runway, 845 by 20 metres, aligned 11/29, with a radio frequency of 122.505 MHz and an elevation of 112 feet MSL. Prior permission (PPR) is required for motor aircraft, helicopters and ultralights; the stated landing fee is 50 DKK. Visitors can consult the club’s pilot information and arrival guidance before setting out.
