Ekta Health

Ekta Health is a charitable health organization focused on raising awareness of health issues affecting particular racial and ethnic communities. Guided by the belief that diversity can unite and education can empower, it shares culturally relevant, accessible health information and encourages communities to engage with health topics and local initiatives.

The organization publishes science and health news, including articles on diabetes prevention, heart disease, food access, and the effects of historical redlining on minority communities. Its resources also explore culturally informed perspectives on care, such as connections between Sikh principles and diabetes management. Through these materials, Ekta Health highlights both personal health choices and broader social factors that influence community wellbeing.

Ekta Health also promotes community events and activities. One featured initiative is a winter coat drive, organized in collaboration with Sikhs Against Hunger to provide warmth for homeless people across northern New Jersey. The organization invites people to learn about its work, explore its resources, attend local activities, and join its team.
